Nazareth House came into existence in cape Town in 1880.This happened as a result of the Bishop of Cape Town requesting care for orphans, elderly and abandoned children. Dedicated sisters came in and helped and still to this day there are dedicated sisters working in all the Nazareth Houses across the globe.
